Joche The Salon
About
Found on Puerto Rico, Joche The Salon sits at Plaza Av. Jesús M. Fragoso in Carolina, 00983, a short run from the resort strip of Isla Verde. The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00, with Sunday and Monday closed. Carolina sits beside San Juan, so the salon is reachable from the capital's hotels and the airport corridor without a long drive.
Joche The Salon is a hair salon, and the chair is its business: cuts, styling and the kind of appointment that gets booked by word of mouth rather than by passing trade. Its reputation rests on a 4.9 out of 5 score gathered from 108 reviews, one of the strongest records we hold for a salon on the island. Local clients and visitors alike book ahead for Tuesday through Saturday slots.
Appointments run across four days a week, and the Facebook page at http://facebook.com/josalon is the place to arrange one before arriving. The schedule leaves Sunday and Monday free, so a weekend visit to Carolina should be planned around the Tuesday opening.
Shared taxis and minibuses are the usual way around the island and often leave only once full, so build waiting time into any trip out to Carolina. Temperatures stay warm all year, which makes a salon appointment an easy midday stop. San Juan and Old San Juan lie within the same urban area for anyone combining errands with a day in the capital.
