The venue keeps a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/donborgescafe. Its position in San Juan puts it within reach of districts such as Condado and Ocean Park.
As a café, the kitchen turns out coffee alongside food, making it a place to sit down for a drink and a meal rather than a quick counter stop. The business operates as a restaurant, so the menu extends beyond drinks. Opening hours are not part of the listing, so timing a visit is best done through the Facebook page.
Getting around the Caribbean often means minibuses and shared taxis that set off once they are full, so allow extra time when travelling to the café. Callaloo, a leafy green stew, appears in different versions from island to island and is worth trying while in Puerto Rico. The café's San Juan setting places it near Old San Juan and Isla Verde, both straightforward to reach from the capital.
