Quad & Buggy Tours in Askeli offers self-drive off-road excursions along the coastal trails of Poros, starting from the Askeli beachfront. The tours provide a guided route through pine forests, olive groves, and rocky hillsides with views over the Saronic Gulf. Each vehicle is equipped with safety gear, and a briefing covers handling and trail rules before departure.
What to expect
- Tours run daily with morning and afternoon departures, lasting approximately 2 hours including a 20-minute rest stop at a hillside viewpoint.
- Each quad or buggy accommodates up to two adults, with helmets and dust goggles provided; a valid driving licence is required for the driver.
- The route covers 15 kilometres of graded dirt tracks and asphalt, passing the Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi and the old windmill above Askeli.
- A guide leads the convoy on a lead vehicle, and a support truck carries water and a first-aid kit for the group.
- Suitable for first-time riders and families with children aged 12 and over, as long as the child sits as a passenger behind the driver.
- The tour ends back at the Askeli starting point, where riders can rinse off dust at the provided outdoor shower before returning to the beach.
