About
Among Phuket's hotels, The Residence Resort and Spa Retreat occupies หมู่ที่ 5 258/12 Srisoonthorn Rd, Choeng Thale, Thalang District, Phuket 83110, Thailand, a hotel and wellness retreat in the island's quieter northern reaches.
Choeng Thale sits within reach of Bang Tao and Kamala, giving guests a calmer base than the busier west-coast strips. Patong, Karon and Kata lie further south along the coast, while Rawai, Nai Harn and Chalong anchor the southern end of the island.

Phuket's Andaman coast sees its heaviest rain from May to October, so travellers often favour the drier months for beach time. Songthaew pickup trucks and motorbike taxis remain common ways to move around Thailand's islands, useful for reaching the island's southern beaches. Thai island cooking leans on fresh seafood, curries, noodles and tropical fruit, all easy to find across Phuket.
