Royal Thai
About
In Phuket, Royal Thai operates as a hotel at 27/23 Soi Mittapap, Rawai, Muang Phuket 83130, Thailand, placing it in the island's southern reaches. Rawai sits near Nai Harn and Chalong, a quieter stretch of Phuket away from the busier west-coast resort towns.
The hotel trades under the name Royal Thai and keeps a website at http://www.royalthaivillaphuket.com/, which carries its own information for guests. Its standing among visitors shows in a 4.6 out of 5 average drawn from 99 reviews, a figure that reflects repeat custom rather than passing trade. Patong, Karon, Kata, Kamala and Bang Tao all lie within the island's well-known beach circuit, giving guests a sense of how Rawai fits into Phuket as a whole.
First-time visitors can use the website to plan their stay, and the Rawai setting means the southern beaches and Chalong are close at hand. Phuket's monsoon brings rain from around May to October, followed by a drier, cooler stretch, so timing a trip around those months shapes what a stay feels like. Songkran, the Thai new year water festival, falls nationwide in the middle of April and is worth planning around.
Phuket sits among Thailand's islands, which lie in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, many fringed with coral reefs. Thai waters support coral reefs, whale sharks and dugongs, and sea turtles nest on several island beaches.
