In Phuket House
About
In Phuket House, on Phuket, occupies a spot on Thalang Rd in Tambon Talat Yai within Mueang Phuket District, putting guests in the island's main town rather than a beach strip. First-time visitors should expect a straightforward guest house with a daily 09:00-19:00 reception window, so arrivals outside those hours need planning. The property holds a 4.1 out of 5 rating from 38 reviews, a solid score for a small guest house on the island.
Reaching it from the resorts is manageable: Patong, Karon, Kata, Kamala, Bang Tao, Rawai, Nai Harn and Chalong are all on the same island, so a taxi or hired scooter covers the distance from any of them. Guests based in Chalong or Rawai, in particular, will find the run into town short. The 38 reviews place it as a modest, well-liked option rather than a large hotel.
In Phuket House keeps reception open every day from 09:00 to 19:00, and its website at https://www.inphukethouse.com/ carries booking details. Thalang Rd in Tambon Talat Yai is the address to give a driver.
Phuket's tropical climate runs warm and humid all year, so light clothing suits most stays. Songkran, the Thai new year water festival, takes over the streets nationwide in mid-April, which is worth knowing before booking those dates.
