Bando Boyz
About
Found on Phuket, Bando Boyz is a bar in Rawai, on the island's southern tip. The venue is listed at 57, 47, Rawai, Phuket, 83130, placing it in the far south rather than the busy west-coast resort strip.
Guests staying in Patong, Karon or Kata can reach Rawai by road along the coast, while those at Kamala, Bang Tao, Nai Harn or Chalong are further out and should allow more time for the drive. Rawai sits close to Nai Harn, so the two southern areas are easy to combine in one outing.
With a 4.7 out of 5 average from 12 reviews, Bando Boyz has a small but favourable set of guest ratings to its name. The bar is known for that reception rather than for a long-established reputation, since the review count remains modest.
Thailand's southwest monsoon brings rain from around May to October, followed by a drier, cooler period, which shapes when the island's bars and beaches are at their busiest. Songkran, the Thai new year water festival, is held nationwide in the middle of April.
