Hotels & Resorts in Laem Had is a curated collection of seaside accommodations on the southern tip of Koh Yao Yai, Thailand. This area offers direct access to Laem Had Beach, a long stretch of white sand with calm, shallow water. The resorts here range from boutique bungalows to full-service properties, each positioned for sunset views over Phang Nga Bay.
What to expect
- Stay in one of 10 to 80 rooms, with options from garden villas to beachfront suites, all within a 5-minute walk of the sand.
- Wake to a continental or Thai breakfast included in the room rate, served on an open-air terrace facing the bay.
- Spend the day on the beach with complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas, or rent a kayak for 300 THB per hour to paddle to nearby mangroves.
- Watch the sunset from the resort's beach bar, where a cold Singha beer costs around 90 THB.
- Book a guided longtail boat trip to Koh Hong or Koh Nok, departing directly from the resort's private pier, lasting 4 to 6 hours.
- Suitable for couples and families; children under 6 stay free in the same room, and the shallow shoreline is safe for swimming.
