Surf Lessons in Lakka is a guided surfing activity based in the harbour village of Lakka on Paxos island. The lessons take place in the calm, clear waters of the Ionian Sea, suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers. A certified instructor provides all necessary equipment and safety briefing before each session.
What to expect
- 90-minute lesson with a certified instructor, including a 15-minute land-based technique demonstration
- All equipment provided: soft-top surfboard, leash, and wetsuit sized to fit each participant
- Sessions run daily at 10:00 and 16:00, with a maximum of 6 students per group
- Practice in the sheltered bay of Lakka, where the water depth stays under 1.5 metres within 20 metres of the shore
- Suitable for ages 8 and up; non-swimmers can join using a floatation belt at no extra cost
- Each lesson ends with a video review of your paddling and pop-up technique, sent to you by email within 24 hours
