Antipaxos Supermarkets & Groceries is the island's sole provisioning point, located near the main jetty in the village of Agios Haralambos. It stocks essential foodstuffs, local olive oil, wine, and basic household items for the island's few hundred residents and daily boat visitors. The shop operates seasonally from May to October, with limited hours that align with ferry arrivals from Paxos and Corfu.
What to expect
- Small single-room store with shelves of pasta, tinned goods, fresh bread, and local honey, plus a cold cabinet for dairy and drinks.
- Stock includes Antipaxos-grown olives and olive oil, sold in 500ml bottles, and local wines from Paxos vineyards.
- Open daily from 9:00 to 13:00 and 17:30 to 20:00, but closes for a midday siesta and on Sundays.
- No fresh meat or fish; visitors should bring these from Gaios or buy frozen items from the freezer chest.
- Cash only; no card payments accepted, and the nearest ATM is on Paxos in Gaios.
- Suitable for self-catering guests and day-trippers needing picnic supplies, but not for full weekly shops.
