Camel Riding in Magazia is a guided camel trek along the coastal paths of Magazia, Paxos. Riders follow a fixed route that passes olive groves and the Ionian shoreline. The activity operates daily from 9am to 6pm, with each ride lasting 45 minutes.
What to expect
- Ride a trained camel for 45 minutes on a 2-kilometre loop starting at the Magazia beachfront
- Includes a safety briefing, helmet, and a camel handler walking beside you at all times
- The route passes the old stone well and the Agios Nikolaos chapel, with a 5-minute photo stop at the cliff edge
- Suitable for riders aged 6 and over, with a maximum weight limit of 100 kilograms per rider
- Each ride includes a small pouch of dates to feed your camel at the end of the trek
