Surf Lessons in Naoussa is a structured surf school programme on the sheltered bay of Naoussa, Paros. The lessons run daily from May to October and are led by certified instructors using soft-top boards for beginners. Each session covers beach safety, paddle technique, and wave timing before entering the water.
What to expect
- 90-minute group or private lesson on the flat-water bay, with all equipment including wetsuit and soft-top board provided
- Instructors give a 20-minute land drill on pop-up stance and paddle stroke before the first water session
- Suitable for ages 8 and up, with a separate shallow-water zone for first-timers and a deeper line for intermediate riders
- You will catch 8 to 12 waves per session, with the instructor pushing you into each wave for consistent practice
- The school provides rash guards, reef shoes, and a secure locker for your belongings during the lesson
- After the session, you receive a digital photo of your wave-riding moment and a written progress note for your next lesson
