Paragliding in Naoussa is a tandem paragliding flight launched from the hills above Naoussa Bay on Paros island. The activity offers a motorless descent over the Aegean Sea and the town's whitewashed buildings. Flights operate from May to October, weather permitting.
What to expect
- Tandem flight with a certified pilot, lasting 15-25 minutes depending on thermals.
- Launch from a hillside at 300 metres altitude, with a short briefing and safety harness fitting before takeoff.
- Includes all equipment (paraglider, harness, helmet) and a GoPro video recording of your flight.
- Soar over Naoussa's harbour, the Venetian castle ruins, and the turquoise waters of Kolymbithres beach.
- Suitable for first-time flyers and those with no prior experience; minimum age is 12 years, maximum weight is 100 kg.
- Meet at the Naoussa waterfront, then a 10-minute drive to the launch site in a provided vehicle.
