Artisan Markets in Logaras is a seasonal open-air market held in the coastal village of Logaras on Paros, Greece. It showcases local crafts, handmade jewellery, ceramics, and textiles from Cycladic artisans. The market operates in the evenings, typically from late June to early September, along the pedestrian street near the beachfront.
What to expect
- Runs from 18:00 to 23:00, three evenings per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) during July and August.
- Features 15 to 20 stalls with live demonstrations of pottery throwing and loom weaving.
- Visitors can purchase directly from the makers, with prices ranging from 5 EUR for small ceramic magnets to 120 EUR for handwoven linen tablecloths.
- Includes a small children's craft corner where kids can paint their own plaster tiles for 3 EUR.
- Suitable for slow strollers and souvenir hunters; the market is fully pedestrianised and wheelchair accessible.
- Live acoustic Greek music (bouzouki and guitar) plays from 20:00 to 22:00 at the central square end of the market.
