Restaurants & Dining in Alona Beach

About this experience

What to expect

• Expect to choose from fresh seafood grilled on open charcoal pits, including whole squid, prawns, and lapu-lapu fish, priced per kilogram at market rates.
• Most restaurants offer beachfront tables with direct sand underfoot, and a typical meal for two with drinks costs between 600 and 1,200 Philippine pesos.
• You will find a mix of Filipino, Italian, and Greek menus, with wood-fired pizza ovens and homemade pasta available at three separate establishments along the strip.
• Live acoustic music plays at roughly half the venues from 7pm to 10pm, often with performers taking requests for a small tip.
• Dining hours are flexible, but the busiest period is sunset (5:30pm to 7pm), when tables fill quickly and service times can extend to 30 minutes.
• The area suits couples and small groups seeking casual, open-air meals, with no formal dress code and most seating on plastic or wooden chairs.
