Shape

About

Shape, on Öland, gives first-time visitors a Kalmar address at Norra Långgatan 5, 392 32 Kalmar, Sweden, and a beauty salon to match. The salon holds a 4.1 out of 5 average from 30 reviews, a solid showing that reflects steady local custom. Full details sit at http://www.shapekalmar.se/, where the salon's own pages carry its current arrangements.

Öland's beauty salon scene draws from towns such as Borgholm, Färjestaden and Mörbylånga, all reachable by road from Kalmar. The island is linked to the mainland by bridge, so a car or bus ride from the main resorts reaches the salon without a ferry crossing. Köpingsvik, Byxelkrok, Löttorp and Södvik sit further north along the island's length, giving the salon a catchment that stretches well beyond Kalmar itself.

Visitors arriving from the mainland can plan around the salon's location in Kalmar, which sits at the southern end of Öland's road network. The 30 reviews on record give a sense of how the salon is received by those who have already been. A first appointment is best arranged through the salon's own website.

Öland's weather is shaped by Atlantic systems that bring strong wind and rain, particularly through autumn and winter, so a visit is easier to plan in the calmer months. Ferries and, in places, bridges connect Scandinavia's islands, making a crossing to Öland straightforward for anyone travelling from the mainland.
