Saino Mart

About

SAINO MART, on Okinawa, sits at 1 Chome-2-9 Asato, Naha, Okinawa 902-0067, Japan, in the Asato district of the prefectural capital. First-time visitors should expect a compact neighbourhood shop rather than a large complex, so a short stop is the natural way to use it. The location puts it within Naha's urban core.

Its 4.5 out of 5 average, drawn from 30 reviews, places SAINO MART among the better-reviewed addresses in Asato. The shop sits close to Kokusai Dori, Naha's main street, so it can be folded into a walk through the city centre. Naha, Chatan, Onna, Nago, American Village, Okinawa City and Uruma all sit within reach for anyone touring the island by car. A Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083279273458 carries updates.

Asato sits in the heart of Naha, so the shop is straightforward to reach on foot from the surrounding streets. Travellers based in Chatan or Onna can drive south into Naha and combine the stop with Kokusai Dori.

Okinawa forms the southern end of a Japanese archipelago of several thousand islands that stretches from Hokkaido to here. Sushi, ramen and tempura appear across Japan, and each region seasons its broth and its cooking differently, so meals in Naha carry their own stamp. Ferries and aircraft connect the smaller islands, while trains run through tunnels and bridges on the four main ones.
