Waikele Country Club
About
Waikele Country Club serves Oahu from 94-200 Paioa Pl, Waipahu, HI 96797, United States, a golf course on the island's south-central plain. Waipahu sits between Pearl Harbor and the rest of the island, a short run west of Honolulu and within reach of Waikiki. The club holds a 4.3 out of 5 average across 567 reviews, a mark of how consistently players view their rounds here. That tally places it among the more reviewed golf courses on Oahu, and the volume suggests a steady local following rather than a purely tourist trade. Reaching the club is straightforward for anyone staying in Honolulu or Waikiki, both a short drive east, while North Shore surf towns like Haleiwa and the windward side at Kailua and Waimanalo lie further out. Pearl Harbor is close by, making the club a natural stop for visitors combining a round with a trip to that historic site. The course sits on the south-central plain, an area of Oahu that stays drier than the windward coast. Green sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals live in the waters around Oahu and haul out on its beaches, a reminder of the marine life sharing the island. Plate lunches of Spam, rice and macaroni salad remain a staple of local home cooking, and they are worth seeking out after a morning on the course. The club's own website, golfwaikele.com, carries its details for anyone planning a visit.
