Scenic View
About
Found on Oahu, Scenic View sits in Kaneohe, HI 96744, United States, on the windward side of the island. Reaching it from Honolulu, Waikiki or the other main towns on Oahu is straightforward by car, the usual way to get around the island, and public bus services also run here.
Scenic View is a viewpoint, and it holds a 4.8 out of 5 average from 15 reviews, a high mark for such a small number of visitors. Those who make the trip tend to leave positive feedback about what they see from the spot.
The viewpoint is known for the outlook it provides over the surrounding landscape. Lei garlands made from flowers or shells are given in Hawaii to mark greetings, birthdays and graduations, a tradition visitors often encounter during their stay. Trade winds blow from the northeast across Hawaii, bringing most rain to the windward coasts, so conditions on this side of the island can be wetter than elsewhere.
