Honos Shrimp Truck
About
Found on Oahu, Honos Shrimp Truck parks at 66-472 Kamehameha Hwy in Haleiwa, HI 96712, United States, a spot that draws a steady local following. That address sits on the North Shore, and the drive from Honolulu or Waikiki follows the island's northern coast, while the city bus network also reaches Haleiwa. Because the truck stands beside the highway in Haleiwa, travellers circling Oahu between the North Shore beaches and the windward side pass directly by.
The business operates as a restaurant, and its 4.4 out of 5 score across 468 reviews shows a well-established following among residents and visitors. Haleiwa anchors the North Shore, a stretch known for its surf and its roadside food stops. With Honolulu, Waikiki and Kailua all within reach, the truck makes a natural stop for anyone touring the island by car.
Oahu's north shore faces the open ocean, and the trade winds from the northeast bring most rain to the windward coasts. The leeward side stays drier, so conditions vary depending on which coast you are on. Humpback whales migrate to Hawaiian waters to breed between roughly November and May, adding to the island's seasonal appeal.
Cars are the main form of transport on the Hawaiian islands, and Oahu runs a public bus service that connects Haleiwa with the rest of the island. Visitors heading to the North Shore will find Honos Shrimp Truck a convenient stop along the highway, with its 468 reviews and 4.4 out of 5 average reflecting a solid reputation among those who pull in.
