Diving & Snorkeling in Mushroom Bay is a guided water activity at the sheltered bay on the southwest coast of Nusa Lembongan, Bali. The bay’s calm, shallow waters and sandy slope make it a reliable site for beginners and families. Coral bommies and seagrass patches here host clownfish, parrotfish, and occasional reef turtles.
What to expect
- Guided sessions run 2 to 3 hours, including a 45-minute dive or 60-minute snorkel in the bay’s protected zone.
- All equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, BCD, regulator, and wetsuit) is provided and fitted on site.
- Snorkellers stay within 50 metres of the shore, where water depth ranges from 2 to 6 metres.
- Divers descend to a maximum depth of 12 metres, passing sandy channels between coral bommies.
- The trip includes a boat transfer from the Mushroom Bay jetty to the outer reef edge for the dive entry.
- Suits non-swimmers and children aged 8 and up, as a guide accompanies every group of four or fewer.
