About
Create, Art and Craft Store, on Nantucket, is a marketplace at 8 Amelia Dr, Nantucket, MA 02554, United States, where first-time visitors will find a shop floor stocked for browsing rather than a quick in-and-out stop. The store keeps a website at http://www.nantucketcreate.com/ for anyone planning a visit around the island's shopfronts.
A 4.8 out of 5 score from 24 reviews places Create, Art and Craft Store among the better-reviewed shops on the island, and that small but positive review base suggests customers leave satisfied with what they find on the shelves. The marketplace format means stock changes as makers and suppliers bring in new work, so a return visit rarely looks the same as the last. Its position near Nantucket Town puts it within easy reach of the harbour area and the wider island.
Opening hours are not part of the listing, and the shop's own website is the place to confirm times before setting out. A set of photos on the listing gives a visual sense of the shop floor and the kind of goods on display.
Getting to the store is straightforward from the main settlements, with Nantucket Town, Siasconset, Madaket, Surfside, Wauwinet, Cisco, Polpis and Quidnet all within the island's road network. English is the main language spoken across the island, which makes asking for directions simple. Visitors often build a stop here into a day that also takes in the town's other shops and the waterfront.
