Opening hours run daily, so departures can be arranged across the week. The official site at https://www.blacklizardtours.com/ sets out the boats and how to book, while photos show the vessels and the coastline around the base.
Menorca sits within the Balearic Islands, where a Mediterranean climate brings hot, dry summers and mild winters, with June to September the busiest stretch. Meals across the islands centre on freshly caught fish, sobrasada sausage and ensaimada pastries, with wines produced from vineyards on the islands themselves. Reaching the Balearics is easy thanks to regular flights from many European cities and ferry crossings from mainland Spain. Spanish and Catalan are the main languages, so a few basic phrases help when booking and boarding.
