A licence is not required to rent a boat, as the vessels are provided with a skipper for the duration of the trip. The high volume of reviews reflects its popularity among visitors to the island.

Menorca's Mediterranean climate brings hot, dry summers and mild winters, making the peak months from June to September the busiest for time on the water. Menorcan cooking leans on the sea, with sobrasada sausage and ensaimada pastries among the island staples, and wines pressed from local vineyards. The Balearics are served by frequent flights from across Europe and ferry routes from mainland Spain. Spanish and Catalan are the main languages spoken, so visitors can arrange their trip in either language.
