Holloway Volleyball Court
About
Holloway Volleyball Court is a local business in Mauritius. Its address is PG6F+8QM, B71, Vacoas-Phoenix, Mauritius, placing it in the central plateau town of Vacoas-Phoenix rather than on the coast.
The venue operates as a sports pitch, a dedicated court for volleyball rather than a general recreation ground. A 4 out of 5 rating from 7 reviews reflects a small but positive set of user impressions. Two photos accompany the listing.
First-time visitors should expect an open court in a residential inland setting, with the B71 road as the approach. Vacoas-Phoenix sits between the capital and the island's interior, so anyone travelling from Port Louis passes through the same central corridor.
Mauritius and Rodrigues are volcanic islands ringed by coral reefs and shallow lagoons, and the climate stays warm all year with southeast trade winds cooling the air. Creole cooking on both islands uses rice, seafood, tomato rougaille and hot chilli paste, and Sega music led by the ravanne drum is traditional here. The island became independent in 1968 after Dutch, French and British rule. Rodrigues lies about 560 kilometres east of Mauritius and is drier and windier than the main island.
