Pizza Hut
About
On Maui, Pizza Hut serves from 2395 S Kihei Rd, Kihei, HI 96753, United States, on the south coast where most of the island's visitors stay. The name is known for pizza, and this branch runs as a restaurant with the familiar menu of pies, sides and takeaway orders. First-time visitors should expect a casual counter or delivery setup rather than table service, and Kihei's position means pickup is easy for anyone based in Wailea or further along the south shore.
A 3.4 out of 5 average across 344 reviews places it on the lower side, though the volume of ratings shows how much traffic passes through. Reaching it from elsewhere is a matter of direction: Lahaina and Kaanapali lie west, Wailuku, Paia and Makawao sit to the north, and Hana is the far eastern run. The website lists the Kihei branch among the chain's Hawaii locations.
Hawaiian islands have windward and leeward coasts, with wetter and drier conditions respectively, and Kihei sits on the dry side. Spam, rice and macaroni salad appear widely in Hawaiian home cooking and lunch plates, a contrast to the pizza on offer here. Hawaiian culture includes hula dance, oli chants and the voyaging traditions of Polynesian navigators, and the Hawaiian monk seal and green sea turtle live in Hawaiian waters and haul out on its beaches.
Lahaina, Kihei, Paia, Kaanapali, Wailea, Hana, Makawao and Wailuku all sit within reach of this Kihei address.
