Julie Galeeva Fine Art
About
Julie Galeeva Fine Art serves Maui from 3682 Baldwin Ave in Makawao, HI 96768, United States, and holds a 4.9 out of 5 score across 15 reviews. That near-perfect record comes from a small but enthusiastic group of visitors.
Makawao sits upcountry, and drivers pass through Paia and Makawao on the road that climbs from the coast. Reaching the gallery from Kihei, Wailea, Kaanapali or Lahaina involves a drive across the island, while Wailuku lies closer. The gallery's own site at http://www.juliegaleeva.com/ carries examples of the work on display.
Hawaiian words appear widely in place names across the island, and English and Hawaiian are both official languages, so visitors will encounter both on road signs and in conversation. Hawaii's wetter season runs from November to March and the drier stretch from April to October, which shapes when most people plan a trip.
Lei garlands made from flowers or shells mark greetings, birthdays and graduations in Hawaii, and the custom reflects the islands' wider culture of hula dance, oli chants and voyaging traditions. With a 4.9 out of 5 score across 15 reviews, Julie Galeeva Fine Art draws visitors upcountry to Makawao.
