Foodland Kaahumanu
About
Foodland Kaahumanu serves Maui from 90 Kane St in Kahului, HI 96732, putting it on the island's central isthmus rather than the resort coast. Drivers coming from Lahaina, Kihei or Paia reach the Kahului area without crossing to the far side of Maui. Shoppers have scored it 4.3 out of 5 across 599 reviews, a strong showing for a store of its kind. Maui's main towns sit within easy driving distance, so a stop in Kahului fits naturally into a day that also takes in Wailuku or Makawao. With 599 ratings recorded, the score reflects a broad spread of visits rather than a handful of opinions. Opening hours run daily and cover morning through evening, suiting travellers who need supplies before or after an excursion. Hawaiian and English are both official languages in Hawaii, and Hawaiian words appear widely in place names, so road signs and storefronts around Kahului may look unfamiliar at first. Cars are the main way around the island, and the larger islands run public bus services, so reaching this Kahului spot without a rental is possible but slower. The store's website, foodland.com, carries its store information. 90 Kane St is the address to enter into a satnav. For anyone based in Wailea, Kaanapali or Hana, a Kahului errand is best paired with other central-Maui stops.
