Kihei sits on the leeward coast, and reaching the venue from resort areas such as Wailea or Kaanapali is straightforward along the main coastal roads. The agency's website, http://www.auntiesnorkel.com/, carries its booking information. A set of five images is attached to the business listing, showing what the premises look like. Lahaina, Paia, Makawao and Wailuku are among the other towns on the island. Across Hawaii the climate is tropical, and the sheltered leeward shorelines tend to stay dry and bright for most of the year, with the heaviest rainfall arriving between November and March. Island cooking draws on freshly caught seafood, poke, plate lunches and fruit grown in the tropics. Flights arrive in Hawaii straight from the US mainland, and travel between the islands is possible by plane or ferry. Most residents and visitors speak English, with Hawaiian also in use. A Kihei base places the agency within easy reach of the island's south shore and central towns.
