About
Among Martinique's car rental agencies, A Car Rental Ltd operates from Club Med, Route du, Sainte-Anne 97227, Martinica, in the island's southern commune of Sainte-Anne. The agency serves visitors who want their own transport around Martinique.
A 4.8 out of 5 average from 26 reviews reflects how customers have received the service. The office sits in Sainte-Anne, close to Les Trois-Îlets, Le Diamant and Saint-Pierre, with Fort-de-France and Le Lamentin reachable to the north. Cars can be collected on weekdays from 08:00 to 12:00 and again from 14:30 to 17:30, while Saturday and public holiday hours run 08:30 to 11:30. Booking runs through http://www.acr-martinique.com/.
The agency is a car rental business, with a fleet available for exploring the island at your own pace. The Atlantic hurricane season covers the Caribbean from the start of June to the end of November, so travellers visiting in those months may want to plan around the weather.
Driving gives you the freedom to reach beaches, towns and viewpoints on your own schedule rather than relying on buses. Temperatures across the Caribbean stay warm all year, rarely dropping below the low twenties Celsius, so air conditioning is welcome on longer drives. Sainte-Anne and the southern coast sit within easy reach of the office, while the route north toward Fort-de-France takes in Le Lamentin and Le Robert. Picking up a car early in the day leaves more time for the island's roads.
