Vineyard Harbor Hotel
About
The winery or wine tasting venue Vineyard Harbor Hotel in Martha's Vineyard sits at 60 Beach Rd, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568, United States, a short walk from the harbour in Vineyard Haven. The business runs as a hotel on the island, with wine tasting among the things guests look for here. Tastings lean on the wine side of the operation rather than a vineyard tour, and the setting suits an evening pour after a day on the water.
Across 190 reviews the venue holds 4.4 out of 5, a solid showing for a Martha's Vineyard address. Vineyard Haven sits on the island's north shore, close to Oak Bluffs and West Tisbury, with Edgartown, Menemsha, Chilmark and Aquinnah spread further along the coast. Guests often ask about booking a tasting ahead, and the hotel's own site, http://www.vineyardharbormotel.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=google_my_businens, sets out how visits are arranged. English is the everyday language on the island, so ordering and arranging a tasting is straightforward.
Opening hours for the wine side of the business follow the hotel's own schedule, so a call before arriving helps. The venue keeps a set of photos alongside its listing, giving a sense of the rooms and the bar area before you arrive.
Martha's Vineyard fills up through the summer months, when ferries from the mainland run at their busiest and accommodation books out early. Autumn brings quieter roads and easier tables, which suits a stay built around the hotel and its wine list. Getting around the island is easiest by car or bicycle, with the main towns linked by short drives along the coast road.
