Mallorca's Mediterranean weather brings hot, dry conditions through summer and gentler temperatures in winter, with June to September drawing the largest crowds. Balearic cooking centres on fresh seafood, sobrasada sausage and ensaimada pastries, complemented by wines from the islands' vineyards. Frequent flights from across Europe and ferry routes from mainland Spain connect the Balearics, while Spanish and Catalan are the main languages spoken. Palma's Centre district places José y Mari within the island's primary city, making it reachable from Alcúdia, Magaluf and other listed resorts.
