Girbau
About
Found on Mallorca, Girbau operates from C/ Can Segui, Carrer Son Oms, 2, 07199, Illes Balears. Reaching it from Palma is straightforward, while guests staying in Alcúdia, Magaluf, Cala d'Or, Port d'Alcúdia, Santa Ponsa, Puerto Pollença or Cala Millor can drive across the island to the same industrial address. The premises keep long hours, opening Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 21:00, which suits visitors fitting errands around a day out.
Girbau works as a laundry, handling washing and textile care for households and businesses on the island. Its own site, https://www.girbau.es/, carries its service information. A 5 out of 5 score from 5 reviews marks a small but flawless record among those who have used it.
The seven-day schedule means a machine or a service is available at either end of the day, including weekends. Visitors staying in self-catering accommodation around the island often need exactly this kind of stop mid-holiday.
The Balearic peak season runs from June to September, when the sea is warm and the beaches are busiest, so laundry queues and traffic both build in those months. Migrating birds pass through the islands in spring and autumn, and shearwaters nest on the cliffs.
