Formas
About
Found on Mallorca, Formas is a hairdresser at Pg. de Mallorca, 4, Centre, 07012 Palma, Illes Balears. That address places it in Palma's centre, the island's capital and main transport hub, so clients arriving from Alcúdia, Magaluf, Cala d'Or, Port d'Alcúdia, Santa Ponsa, Puerto Pollença or Cala Millor can reach the salon by road or public transport. Palma itself is the base from which most of Mallorca is explored, and the salon sits within that central grid.
Formas works as a hairdresser, and its reputation rests on a 5 out of 5 rating drawn from five reviews, a small but unblemished record. The website at birgitmueller.com carries the salon's details. Clients travelling from the larger resort towns can plan a visit around a day in Palma, since the city is the island's transport hub.
Opening hours are not published, so the best approach is to arrange an appointment before travelling. The salon's listing includes a website where appointments and services are set out. Booking ahead matters more for anyone coming from outside Palma, given the distance from the island's resort areas.
Mallorca's tramuntana, a cold north wind, blows strongly at times in winter and spring, which is worth knowing when planning a trip to the island. Catalan and Spanish are both official on the Balearics, with local dialects such as mallorquí spoken alongside them. The Posidonia seagrass meadows around Ibiza and Formentera keep the water clear and hold UNESCO World Heritage status. Shearwaters nest on the island's cliffs, and migrating birds pass through the Balearics each year.
