Freediving in Port d'Andratx is a guided breath-hold diving activity in the sheltered bay of Mallorca's southwestern coast. Participants learn equalisation and relaxation techniques before entering the clear Mediterranean water. The session focuses on safe, gradual depth progression under the supervision of a certified instructor.
What to expect
- A 3-hour session includes a 30-minute land-based theory briefing on equalisation and breathing techniques.
- All freediving equipment is provided: mask, snorkel, fins, and a 5mm wetsuit for thermal protection.
- The dive site is a sheltered cove with a maximum depth of 15 metres, suitable for beginners and intermediate freedivers.
- Participants practice static apnea and dynamic apnea drills in shallow water before descending along a fixed guide line.
- Small group size of maximum 6 divers ensures individual coaching and safety supervision throughout the session.
- The activity ends with a debrief and a personalised log of your maximum depth and breath-hold time.
