IKEA Planning Studio
About
In Madeira, IKEA Planning Studio is a furniture store at Plaza Center Madeira, Rua Dr. Brito Câmara 9 Lj 101, São Martinho, 9000-039 Funchal. The unit sits in a shopping centre in the São Martinho district of the island's capital.
The studio is set up for planning and ordering rather than browsing a full warehouse floor, so visitors work through layouts and place orders on site. Opening hours run from 09:00 to 22:00 every day of the week, which gives a long daily window. A 2.9 out of 5 average across 82 reviews reflects a mixed reception, and the website at https://www.ikea.com/pt/pt/stores/estudios-de-planificacao-e-encomenda-pubf0748090/ carries the studio's own information.
Funchal anchors the south coast, with Câmara de Lobos, Caniço, Machico, Santana, São Vicente, Porto Moniz and Calheta spread around the rest of Madeira.
Winter months on the island are cooler and windier, and fish stews and grilled fish are everyday dishes, with each island keeping its own recipes. Volcanic peaks, crater lakes and steep terraced fields shape the landscape across the archipelago.
