The route covers six venues within a 500-metre radius of the main square, each offering locally roasted beans and Canarian pastries. Visitors move at their own pace between stops, with no fixed start time or booking required.
What to expect
- The tour includes a printed map from the Tías tourist office, listing each café's address, opening hours, and signature drink.
- At each of the six stops, visitors can order a cortado or barraquito, with most venues offering a free small sweet with any coffee purchase.
- The walk between cafés takes 5 to 10 minutes on flat, paved streets, suitable for wheelchairs and prams.
- Two participating cafés roast their beans on-site, and visitors can watch the roasting drum through a glass partition.
- The route passes the 16th-century San José Church and the weekly Thursday market, which operates from 9:00 to 14:00.
- The tour suits solo travellers and small groups, with each café seating between 8 and 20 people indoors and on terraces.
