Campsites in Haría are designated camping areas in the municipality of Haría, on the northern coast of Lanzarote. These sites provide a base for exploring the valley of a thousand palms and the nearby Famara cliffs. Camping here is a low-impact way to stay close to the island's agricultural and volcanic landscapes.
What to expect
- Pitches are basic, typically without electricity or water hook-ups, and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each site has a shared toilet block and cold-water tap, but no showers or waste disposal points.
- Campers must bring their own tent, sleeping gear, cooking stove, and food, as there are no on-site shops or restaurants.
- The main access road is unpaved and suitable for cars, but not for large motorhomes or caravans over 6 metres.
- Overnight stays are limited to a maximum of three consecutive nights per site, with a permit required from the local town hall.
- The areas are open year-round, but the best conditions are from October to May, when daytime temperatures range from 18°C to 24°C.
