Pharmacies in Agulo

About this experience

What to expect

• Both pharmacies stock common travel medications, including seasickness tablets, sunburn creams, and antihistamines, which are useful for ferry trips and coastal walks.
• Prescriptions from any EU or UK doctor are dispensed after validation, and pharmacists can advise on dosage and interactions in Spanish or basic English.
• The main pharmacy sits near the town square, a five-minute walk from the bus stop, making it accessible for tourists staying in Agulo's guesthouses.
• Opening hours are typically Monday to Friday 9:00-13:30 and 16:30-20:00, with Saturday morning service from 9:00-13:00.
• The on-call rota covers nights and Sundays, with the duty pharmacy's address and phone number posted on each shop's door.
• The service suits travellers needing urgent medication refills, parents with children requiring paediatric formulations, and hikers seeking blister plasters or antiseptic wipes.
