Hotels & Resorts in Côte d'Or

About this experience

What to expect

• Rooms and suites face the bay directly, with most properties offering private terraces or balconies overlooking the granite boulders and coconut palms
• On-site restaurants serve Creole seafood dishes such as grilled parrotfish and octopus curry, with breakfast included in the room rate at most hotels
• Snorkelling gear is available for hire at the beach, where the reef starts 20 metres offshore and hosts parrotfish, surgeonfish, and occasional hawksbill turtles
• The bay's calm, shallow water makes it suitable for families with young children, while kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are rented from the beach kiosks
• Evening low tide exposes a wide sand flat, allowing walks to the neighbouring Anse Volbert village for local shops and food stalls
• Properties range from 4-star resorts with pools and spas to self-catering apartments, with check-in typically from 14:00 and check-out by 11:00
