M∀X

About

M∀X serves Kyushu as a hairdresser at 6 Chome-1 Kasugakoen, Kasuga, Fukuoka 816-0811, Japan. That puts the salon in Kasuga, a city within the Fukuoka metropolitan area on the island's northern side.

Clients have left 70 reviews that average 4.1 out of 5, a score that places M∀X among the better-reviewed salons in its part of Fukuoka. The address sits in Kasugakoen, a neighbourhood whose name ties it to the Kasuga area. Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Beppu, Yufuin, Miyazaki and Sasebo all lie within reach, with Fukuoka the closest of these for most travellers. The salon's website, http://www.tj.kyushu-u.ac.jp/, carries further reference for anyone planning a visit.

Japanese is the national language, written with kanji characters plus the hiragana and katakana syllabaries, so a translation app helps with booking. Trains link Japan's four main islands through tunnels and bridges, while ferries and aircraft serve smaller ones, which makes Kyushu straightforward to reach from elsewhere in the country.

Kasuga sits within easy travelling distance of Fukuoka's urban core, so the salon fits naturally into a day spent in the wider city. Visitors heading south to Kumamoto or Kagoshima pass through the same northern Kyushu corridor. Japanese waters carry tuna, mackerel and squid fisheries, and whales migrate through its seas, which shapes the seafood served across the region. The Pacific Ring of Fire runs beneath the Japanese islands, bringing frequent earthquakes and volcanic activity, a reminder that Kyushu's landscape is shaped by deep geological forces.
