Drone Photography in Kanala is a guided aerial photography session in the coastal settlement of Kanala on the island of Kythnos. The activity provides access to elevated launch points overlooking the bay, the Church of Panagia Kanala, and the surrounding Aegean shoreline. Pilots receive instruction on framing the white-washed chapel against the turquoise water and rocky coves.
What to expect
- Session duration is 90 minutes, including pre-flight briefing and battery management
- A DJI Mavic 3 drone with two spare batteries and ND filters is supplied for the flight
- You will capture the Church of Panagia Kanala from 120 metres altitude, with the harbour and ferry route in frame
- The route includes a short walk to a cliffside launch pad above the eastern beach, avoiding crowds
- Suitable for pilots with basic drone experience; a remote controller with live video feed is provided
- Post-session, you receive a microSD card with all raw JPEG and DNG files from the flight
