Spa & Massage in Tha Khao is a dedicated wellness facility located in the village of Tha Khao on Koh Yao Yai island. The spa offers traditional Thai massage and oil treatments in private rooms overlooking the island's quiet eastern coast. Sessions run from 60 to 120 minutes, using locally pressed coconut oil and herbal compresses.
What to expect
- Choose between a 60-minute Thai massage, a 90-minute oil massage, or a 120-minute herbal compress ritual
- Each session includes a cool lemongrass tea welcome drink and a foot wash with sea salt
- Treatments are performed on floor mats or low tables in air-conditioned private rooms with a view of the mangroves
- The spa uses fresh coconut oil pressed on the island and herbs from a local garden, not imported products
- Suitable for travellers seeking muscle relief after hiking or kayaking, as well as for those with limited mobility, as the entrance is step-free
