Spa & Massage in Koh Yao Noi is a wellness service located on the island of Koh Yao Noi, within the Koh Yao Yai district of Phang Nga Bay. The facility offers traditional Thai massage and oil treatments in open-air pavilions overlooking limestone cliffs and mangrove forests. Treatments use locally pressed coconut oil and herbal compresses sourced from the island's gardens.
What to expect
- Standard sessions last 60 or 90 minutes, with a choice of Thai massage, foot reflexology, or aromatherapy oil massage.
- Each treatment begins with a warm herbal foot soak and a cup of lemongrass tea, served in the reception sala.
- Therapists use slow, pressure-point techniques typical of southern Thai massage, focusing on shoulders and lower back.
- Open-air treatment rooms face the sea, with sounds of waves and cicadas audible during the session.
- After the massage, guests receive a cold towel and a small pot of tamarind juice, and can rest on a daybed for up to 30 minutes.
- The spa suits travellers seeking muscle relief after island hiking or long boat transfers, and couples can book a side-by-side double room.
