Spa & Massage in Klong Son is a wellness facility located in the village of Klong Son on Koh Yao Yai, offering traditional Thai massage and oil treatments. The spa sits near the island’s eastern coast, a short walk from the local pier and bungalow resorts. Treatments use locally pressed coconut oil and herbal compresses, with sessions conducted in open-air wooden pavilions overlooking palm groves.
What to expect
- Choose from 60-minute Thai massage, 90-minute oil massage, or 120-minute herbal compress ritual, all booked by walk-in or same-day appointment.
- Each session includes a pre-treatment foot wash with warm water and lemongrass, followed by a full-body massage on a floor mat or table.
- Therapists use slow, firm pressure along sen lines for Thai massage, or long strokes with warm coconut oil for the oil option.
- Herbal compress sessions include steamed local leaves (kaffir lime, turmeric, tamarind) pressed onto shoulders, back, and legs.
- Suits travellers seeking muscle relief after island hikes or long boat rides, as well as couples wanting a quiet, low-cost treatment (from 400 THB).
- The spa provides fresh drinking water and a cool towel after the session, but no shower facilities; guests should arrive clean.
