YL Residence
About
In Koh Samui, YL Residence occupies 117 Moo 2, Tambon Maret, Surat Thani 84310, Thailand, on the island's southern side. The hotel's Maret setting places it near the quieter southern stretch rather than the busier northern coast, and guests travelling from Chaweng, Lamai, Bophut, Maenam, Choeng Mon, Bang Rak, Hua Thanon or Lipa Noi can reach it by road along the island's ring route.
A 4.9 out of 5 rating from 31 reviews marks a strong record among the guests who have stayed. First-time visitors should expect a small-scale stay where the review base is compact rather than sprawling, with feedback concentrated among recent guests.
Thai cooking uses fish sauce, shrimp paste, coconut milk, lemongrass and chillies, with rice as the staple.
With 31 reviews behind the 4.9 out of 5 score, the venue has earned consistent praise from a modest number of visitors. Thai islands have a tropical climate with high humidity and warm temperatures all year, so light clothing suits a stay in Maret. Its position on the southern part of Koh Samui keeps it within reach of Lamai and Hua Thanon while remaining apart from the northern resort strip.
