Restaurants & Dining in Phi Phi Leh is a guided culinary tour of the island’s beachside eateries and floating kitchen boats, based at Loh Samah Bay. The activity runs from 11:00 to 14:00 daily, with a set menu of Thai seafood and fresh fruit. It operates from a licensed pontoon platform, with tables shaded by palm-thatch awnings.
What to expect
- A 3-hour seated lunch service with four courses: spicy green papaya salad, grilled snapper, coconut curry, and mango sticky rice
- Includes a non-alcoholic welcome drink (iced lemongrass tea) and bottled water, with refills at no extra cost
- Each table receives a platter of locally caught shellfish, including mussels and clams, cooked over charcoal on the boat
- Diners can watch the kitchen crew prepare dishes on a floating barge moored 20 metres from the dining deck
- Suitable for groups of 2 to 12, with high chairs and vegetarian curry options available on request
- The pontoon is anchored in shallow water, so guests wade 10 metres from the beach to reach the seating area
