Paragliding in Phi Phi Leh is a tandem aerial activity launched from the cliffs of the island's eastern shore, within the Phi Phi archipelago. The flight offers a 10- to 15-minute motorised paraglide over the Andaman Sea, with direct views of Maya Bay and the limestone karsts. Landings occur on a floating platform or the beach, depending on tide and wind conditions.
What to expect
- Tandem flight with a certified pilot, lasting 10 to 15 minutes from launch to landing
- Includes a safety briefing, harness, helmet, and life jacket before takeoff
- Soar at 100 to 150 metres above the water, passing over the coral reefs near Loh Samah Bay
- Suitable for first-time flyers aged 8 and above, with a weight limit of 120 kilograms
- Each flight includes a photo and video package recorded by a ground crew, delivered on a USB stick
- Operates daily from 9:00 to 17:00, with a 20-minute speedboat transfer from Ton Sai Pier to the launch site
