About this experience

Hostels in Pattaya Beach are budget dormitories and private rooms located along the main strip of Koh Lipe's Pattaya Beach. They sit directly behind the sand, with access to the island's longtail boat pier and the walking street's restaurants and bars. These hostels cater to backpackers and divers seeking the cheapest overnight stays on the island, with most offering air conditioning and shared bathrooms.

What to expect

Dorm beds typically cost 300-500 Thai baht per night, with 4- to 8-bed mixed and female-only rooms available
Most hostels include a basic continental breakfast of toast, jam, and instant coffee served between 7:00 and 9:00 AM
Common areas feature hammocks or low seating facing the beach, where guests watch longtail boats arrive from the pier
Lockers are provided for valuables, but guests must bring their own padlock; towels are rented for 50 baht
Reception sells snorkel gear rental at 150 baht per day and arranges day trips to nearby islands like Koh Rawi
Suitable for solo travellers and budget groups who prioritise location and price over quiet, as bars on Walking Street play music until midnight
