Koh Lanta sits within Thailand's tropical climate, where two monsoons shape the year and the Andaman coast is generally at its best from roughly November through April. Thai island cooking leans on fresh seafood, curries, noodles and tropical fruit, which suits a rest day after a massage. Flights, ferries and speedboats connect the mainland to Thailand's islands, and Thai is the main language with English common in tourist areas, so arranging a session is straightforward for international guests. A first visit brings a quiet treatment room and a therapist working through the session at a steady pace.
